很高興能夠與Staglin Family Vineyard 的莊主Shari 和Garen Staglin 試飲他們的美國Napa 葡萄酒。
Staglin是Rutherford產區著名的酒莊，座落於充滿火山土壤和小石的沙質土地，因此Staglin Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2009除了有飽滿的黑果味，而且口感複雜，有礦物和香料的味道。
不過我最喜歡的卻是Staglin Salus Chardonny, 口感雖沒有Staglin 的圓潤，但我比較喜歡它的清爽和和酸度，就是和一般的Napa Chardonnay不一樣。
It was a great pleasure having tasting with Ms Shari Staglin and Mr. Garen Stalglin, the owner of the Staglin Family Vineyard.
Staglin Family Vineyard is one of the most famous winery in Napa Valley. Rutherford, where Staglin Vineyards is located, has a terroir of rocky, volcanic soils, with gravel and rocks.
Staglin Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 is therefore full bodied, intense and complex with ripe cherries, minerals and spices. Besides, Staglin Salus Chardonnay is my favourite, it’s not as round and smooth as the flagship lable one but I like its freshing citrus, white flower and mineral notes.
