Moldovan wine Negru de Purcari

It was believed that the grape-growing and wine making in Moldova had begun 4000-5000 years ago. This Moldovan wine Negru de Purcari was introduced by my friend Kevin.

This wine was called the “Queen of England’s wine” because it was said that Queen Elizabeth II regularly ordered the 1990 vintage.

The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi and Rara Neagra. On palate, it’s complex with black fruits, herbs and dark chocolate flavor, the finish is reasonably long.
