葡萄牙的 Douro區最出名的是Port酒，及後開始用那些葡萄造成的Dry red 也很有名，以酒體強而有力見稱。
原來這裡的白酒也不錯，選酒選得好而且多得葡萄牙著名品酒師Manuel Moreira介紹。
第一隻Quinta do ValladoVinho Branco , 用來blend 的葡萄有Rabigato, Códega, Viosinho, Gouveio 和Arinto。
雖然酸不及北面Vinho Verde的高，但這支感覺清爽，實在，而且十分平衡，鮮青檸，柚子的味道。
反之，Lavradores de Feitoria 的Meruge Branco是比較napa白的風格，酒體較重、圓潤帶一點點雲尼拿的味道。
Douro is well known for the port wine, and recent years the dry red wines. In this tasting, award winning sommelier Mr Manuel Moreira from Portugal shown us some impressive dry white wines.
The two wines that he shown us are completely different. The Quinta Do Vallado Branco is a blend with Rabigato, Códega, Viosingo, Gouveio and Arinto.
Refreshing type, high acidity with citrus fruit and a little minerals. On the other hand, the Meryge Branco from Lavradores de Feitoria, is obviously more rounded, fuller body with hints of vanilla and toastiness kind of medium heavy napa chardonnay.
