Tenuta San Leonardo 是意大利東北Trentino地區的名莊，這天我見到莊主 Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga 先生，和第一次試飲他們的San Leonardo IGT ， 出色的國際品種blend，Cabernet Sauvignon，Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Merlot。2008 果味優雅而複雜，有野性的皮革味,尤其喜歡他們用桶，煙燻味香但沒有木味。
最後試較重身的Carmenère 2010，樹齡30-50歲，口感較濃，有般農村早晨的風味，感覺十分清新。
It was a pleasure meeting Mr Anselmo Guerrieri Gonzaga from the Tenuta San Leonardo of Trentino, Italy. San Leonardo IGT is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon，Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, the vintage 2008 a an elegant wine with complexity and great balance, amazed by it’s style of oak usage, it git the toastiness and coffee falvors but not the taste of oak.
Their Carmenére is more intense on the other hand, recalled me the morning of a farmyard, so refreshing.
