Such a wonderful wine dinner with Mr. Ted Lemon, the owner of the Littorai Wines, which is one of the most elegant California Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on my list.
Before Ted started Littorai in 1993, he worked for a few Burgundian domaines and he became the first American ever hired as winemaker and vineyard in Burgundy.
It’s the first time I tasted his Chardonnay, I like the Charles Heintz Chardonnay for it’s complex aroma, richness on the palate which associated me to the style of Meursault.
For Pinot Noir, I like the Cerise Vineyard of the Anderson Valley for it’s balance between fruit tones and the herbal notes.
