We examined the wine from Grand Crus like Chambertin, Clos de Bèze,Latricières, Ruchottes, Mazis, Chapelle, Griotte, Charmes, and Mazoyères, explore their differences with Allen’s intimate knowledge of each plot and each growers.
Gevrey Chambertin is my favorite Burgundy wine because of the expansive dark fruit, cherries, spices and the minerals on the palate, but the difference of each Grand Crus that Allen mentioned this time is inspiring.
