Tasting with Louis Mitjavile , the owner of Domaine de l’Aurage Cotes de Castillon.
The Mitjavile family owns the Tertre Roteboeuf of St. Emilion and Roc de Cambes of Cotes de Bourg. I like the Domaine de l’Aurage 2010, it’s a well balanced wine with plum, dark cherries and tobacco.
The fruit is more ripper than the 2008 and 2012.
Another impressive one is the Tertre Roteboeuf 2011, which was produced by his father François Mitjavile, it’s silky, complex with lot of spicies, minerals and long length.
