聽過Champagne Barons de Rothschild的 Frédéric Mairesse 先生談造酒理念充滿熱誠，再試過他們新發佈的2008 Vintage 後，我相信這香檳並非只是這個著名品牌的其中一個產品，畢竟用心造的酒是喝得到出來的。
只有出色的年份才有年份香檳，這支2008 Vintage 用最好的特級田Chardonnay連渣陳釀七年，除渣後又再放一年以上。口感非常豐富，酸度很高，氣泡creamy又順滑、果味淸新有之餘一點點乾果味道、帶烤烘杏仁和酵母味、餘韻更有礦物味和一點點陳年Comté芝士的風味。ASC Fine Wines
It was an extraordinary experience tasting the Champagne Barons de Rothschild Blanc de blancs Vintage 2008 with the
Managing Director Mr Frédéric Mairesse. Frédéric’s talents and passion towards wine impressed me that I found this Champagne is a serious work other then just another “product” of a huge brand. The vintage 2008 has power citrus fruit which was balalnced by refreshing acidity, smooth bubbles and creamy palate. Hint of ripe and mature fruit, minerals and a little bit like aged Comté cheese.
