非常期待下星期的加拿大之旅,預備行程花了大量精神和時間,但樂在其中。不過亦有人喜歡旅行社的旅行團,有人預備好最著名的景點和美食,不用自己花時間已萬無一失。參加葡萄酒集團Advini 的午宴,就好像去了一次法國波爾多、Chablis、南法、 Châteauneuf-du-Pape 至南非的Terroir 旅行團。

南非Ken Forrester Wines的FMC Chenin Blanc , 南法普羅旺斯的Château Gassier Rośe 和 Maison Ogier的Châteauneuf-du-Pape也相當不錯。

自幾年前開始試酒,我便堅持一定要用我的墨水筆和筆記簿寫Tasting Noted。我的筆記不是很專業,但是從筆劃型態,顏色深淺和運用的詞句可以看出技術性TN不能表達出來的風味,有時候有些寫出感受更是不便展示。上星期的Advini 午宴收到主人家Jean-Pierre 和Lionel 的親筆歡迎便條,既驚喜又溫暖。

Have been insisting to keep those my fountain pen written tasting notes since i started writing. The ink allowed me to input more emotion and feeling through the shape and the intensity of the stroke, which i would describe it as the temperature of the stroke. Received a handwritten welcome note from Jean-Pierre and Lionel made me feel so surprised and warm.
