再試加拿大酒，今次獨試British Columbia 酒區，Okanagan Valley 是BC 最大的產區(84%)，第二已是 只有6%的Similkameen Valley。
試飲有四個部份，分別是Riesling, Chardonnay，Pinot Noir 和Red Blends。
白酒相富不錯，如要找熱帶鮮果和一點VANILLA木桶香味, Chardonnay 是不錯的，但我更欣賞那些酸度非常爽快的的Riesling 。
Pinot Noir 亦有一貫水準。原本打算四個Flight各選一支 ，Culmina Family Estate Winery Riesling , Quails’ Gate Chardonnay , martin’s lane Pinot Noir 可惜今次四支 Red Blend 乏善足陳，難分高下 。
試了多次加拿大酒，得到的啓示是你永遠不能滿足所有人，唯有選自己擅長的。
P.S. Cocktail 時的那支Sperling Vineyards Sparkling 是不錯的。
Canadian Wine Tasting again, this time we focus on British Columbia Wines .
Okanagan Valley is the largest wine region of BC, comprising 84% of all BC’s vineyards .Similkameen Valley comes second, which is only 6%.
Four flights of the tasting includes Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and red blends. Love the acidity of the white wines, especially Riesling, it’s sharp ,refreshing and crispy.
Chardonnay is good, if you like some tropical fruit and a bit vanilla on palate. For red, Pinot Noir is preferable than the red blends.
